The snow is gone, and there is a moon out tonight. What kind of moon? This is "Indian Moon" by Vernon Dalhart . The recording turns 107 this year. The song was recorded between November 12, 1918 and November 27, 1918, and the disc was released in July of 1922. The Catalog number is 50902, and the Matrix number is 6465. I am going to play the record on a Thomas Edison Disc Phonograph Model C-150 that was manufactured likely in 1918 or 1919 (thank you to "Phono-fun" for the insight on more accurate dating).
