Hello.  This is Michael The Researcher.  Today is June 7, 2021.  Tomorrow, June 8, 2021, will be a very special day for "Three Treasures" will be auctioned by Sotheby's.  They are the 1856 British Guiana One-Cent Magenta Stamp, a 1918 Inverted Jenny Plate Block Of Four Stamps and the 1933 Gold Double Eagle Twenty Dollar Coin.  I am going to make the trek to New York City to see these "Three Treasures" in person.

What a day, what a unique opportunity, and what a rare showing of these three very special artifacts in one room.  All of them have extraordinary histories.  I walked 3.2 miles to Sotheby's and 3.2 back ... all in a jacket and tie in 90 degrees.  It even rained on the way back.  I walked over 6 miles and I spent over $50 in gasoline, train fare and parking just for a few minutes with these very special artifacts from history.  Portal To The Past.  That is what I do.  Thank you for watching.
